The Rajashree is the manufacturing unit for cements. The factory requires Raw
Material like Clinkers daily on an average of 200 trucks and makes the
Production of Cement daily on an average of 300 to 350 Trucks; each truck
weighing nearly 20 to 40 tons. The trucks get registered at different locations
at similar time.
Problem:
With the existing system it was a tedious process for the management to monitor
the weight of trucks that are coming in and Out of plant premises and to track
the delay at different locations. There was no provision for storing of data
like Truck Incoming Time, Weighment Details and Truck Outgoing Time. To
eliminate all the above problems the Truck & Weighbridge Monitoring System was
proposed by eSoft. Weighment is one of the important component for the incoming
and outgoing materials and the digital weighbridge has been integrated to get
and track the weight of different materials.
Solution:
eSoft analyzed the problem and noticed that the delay is in storing data of
Trucks that are Incoming and Outgoing from the factory premises. After
conducting a feasibility study; eSoft arrived with a solution of providing a
Control Software linking up with weighbridge to track the weighment details,
incoming and outgoing time details. The application generates a key code
individually for each truck at different locations, at similar time to store in
the database by integrating the proximity readers at different locations. This
has helped the customer in tracking the location of a truck, the turn around
time of each truck.
